Like you, I remember being very shy in my school days (probably I'm still like that)... I did have a few good friends, but most of the time, I was reading books, watching TV, or, later on, researching on the Internet... In those days, I didn't like traveling as I had motion sickness, which lasted until my 18s, when it got a bit better...
Maybe because of all that, nowadays, I do like travelling a lot, and despite being an introvert, I like to meet and explore new places with friends... That's probably one of the reasons why I attended many Hive meetups...
I did travel alone a few times, but I like to do it in a company more...

It’s great that you join your friends in exploring new places. As long as you can agree on most things and understand each other’s preferences, traveling with friends can be such a wonderful experience.
That’s also how we ended up on the Hive platform, we share some similarities and have common interests. That’s why Hive meetups are such a great idea because it gives us the chance to meet and connect with like-minded people.
