RE: The Heroes We Rarely Remembers After The Headlines Fade. LOH#298

In my long career as a Nurse I have too many times witnessed the process of dying and death from a controlled environment. I've learned to separate my feelings for my former patients and put on a professional decorum. I cannot imagine the stress these rescuers have to perform under dangerous conditions and often with urgency and time not on the victim's side. They are human, and they need time to 'debrief and decompress' most of all our gratitude and support.
