#1237 - Manila and Pasay Shots for Saturday.

Happy Saturday fellow dearest Hiveans around the world! I hope you are all enjoying a very peaceful and lazy today. This is the perfect day to forget about busy work schedule, stay in your pajamas and just drink them hot coffees. We worked so hard this week so rest is a must. Let us share some love and positivity in our Hive community today. Wishing everyone a safe, fun and relaxing Saturday❤️.

Now for our daily shots one beautiful weekend morning with my wife, our son Joaquin and I wanted to try a different breakfast at the massive Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City, specifically wanted to try the famous morning meal at IKEA. We heard much about their affordable breakfast so we were excited.

When we got there, the huge blue building was already buzzing with early shoppers, lots of other families. We lined up, ordered food, pay credit card. I have to say, it was a nice Swedish breakfast to try. The meal was simple but delicious with their signature Swedish meatballs, scrambled eggs. It was a tasty experience.

After our filled of that hearty meal, we head over to Harbor Square along Manila Bay for some sightseeing which is only a few minutes away. It was just a short drive and the morning air was still fresh. The sun wasn't too hot, it was kinda gloomy, making it the perfect time for a nice walk by the water. We could see the calm water of the bay and the massive boats and ships in the distance. We took our time strolling, feeling the bay breeze and taking in the sights of the city.

While we were walking around Harbor Square, we noticed a Starbucks right near by the water. We are a family that loves coffee and matcha so we went in. I got a hot Matcha drink. My wife and son went for their favorite coffees and picked out some tasty bread and pastries. We found a nice spot with a view of the bay.

These shots were some years ago and looking back, it was such a simple day and it turned out to be a really nice weekend specially spent with my family. Trying new food at IKEA and enjoying the bay area made it special. It is these simple little moments together that truly count.
