It was my first time ever trying a fish wrap, and wow, it was so tasty.

I still remember the first time I saw it. I was just wandering around after visiting Galata Tower and suddenly saw the label which said "fish wrap" and smoke rising from the grill, locals lining up like they already knew a secret I didn’t. Fresh fish fillets were cooking right there, seasoned simply.

What makes the Turkish fish wrap so special isn’t just the taste — it’s the experience.

I also visited Hagia Sophia, the place that gives Istanbul its soul. With its huge dome and those warm reddish walls.

Grab a grilled corn from a street vendor. Nothing fancy, just a squeeze of lemon or a sprinkle of salt, but somehow it tastes perfect in that moment.
