Love the idea of self-sustainable "social" farm... Not sure if something like that will ever be possible to do in Europe...
and their way of building is exactly how I would approach it... Buy a piece of land, bring a camper, build it up, add a few small buildings, scale up, etc. Love it!

Well, given the natural conditions of the Baja desert, one would also doubt whether a project such as theirs is possible. But part of their objective is to raise the water table, and actually green the desert, bit by bit.
