Hello Wednesday walkers. It's time for the #wednesdaywalk challenge, hosted by @tattoo-djay. Today I am taking you to Szeged, a charming city in Hungary near the border with Serbia.

I visited this place again in February this year at the same time, during the national holiday, as I did last year. This time, I especially remember the evening walk.

An evening walk through Szeged was so relaxing, partly because I was alone with my husband without children, partly because I was exhausted waiting at the border for three hours. The street lights were very inspiring and romantic.

I have photographed myself many times as Emily in Paris, with the fact that I am Jelena in Szeged. 😊

There were only a few people on the street, but just enough to give the city a sense of life without disturbing its peaceful rhythm.

The air was fresh, and every step echoed gently on the pavement, making the walk feel personal and reflective. The architecture, beautifully lit, reveals details you might miss during the day, and the atmosphere invites you to slow down and simply observe. I enjoyed walking.

After a long walk, we finally went to dinner. We received a recommendation for the John Bull restaurant and we were not wrong, the restaurant is fantastic.

Dinner at John Bull restaurant added a perfect ending to the evening.

The flavors were rich and comforting, the celery soup with almond flakes is surprisingly delicate.

And the goulash served in bread feels so cool and traditional at the same time.

The Kyiv-style chicken was also perfectly prepared.

But the real highlight came at the end: sweet pancakes filled with poppy seeds, vanilla cream, and cherries, a dessert that can't help but delight you.

It was a simple evening walk, yet deeply memorable.

Thanks for reading.

Wow, but the night view is seriously wonderful, the dim lights is giving that romantic vibe. But i'll enjoy walking alone in there too, it is so peaceful. And I love how you captured them. Its pretty. And your choice for a dinner is so good, but I am more curious with that goulash served in a bowl bread. Looks unique to me.
Besides the romantic lights, the biggest impression I had was the goulash soup in a bun 😊 I've never seen anything like it before and it was delicious. Thanks for stopping by.🤗
Great photo of the street.. the lights added to the stunning beauty of place..
The lights completed the whole impression... Thanks!
