But how wonderful it is to be able to make juices that way! One question: Why can't you make wine from those types of grapes?
I don't know, nobody makes wine from this sort. Cited from Wikipedia:
Isabella is no longer a commercially important grape as it produces wines with a noticeable labrusca flavor, which is considered undesirable by many Western European connoisseurs.
It's interesting that it's tasty as juice, not wine. Perhaps it has to do with some chemical properties during fermentation.
