It's interesting that it's tasty as juice, not wine. Perhaps it has to do with some chemical properties during fermentation.

There is probably also a connection with methyl alcohol, which is toxic. I have drunk wine made from this, which would also fall into the category of sweet wines. It is perfect for drinking, but excessive methyl alcohol is produced during the fermentation process. If you drink too much, it's like a pure LSD trip, but then you might go blind.😵‍💫
