Our Bottle Gourd and Squash Are Thriving Under the Trellis

Happy Monday Hivers!

Whenever my mom and I look at how the variety of plants in our garden continues to grow, it fills our hearts with happiness.

The plans we once had are slowly turning into reality. Although not everything has been accomplished yet, we’re grateful that we’ve already been able to bring some of our dreams to life. One of them is building this trellis and planting bottle gourd and squash.

What was once just a dream is now something we can see and nurture with our own hands. We’ve already transplanted the seedlings beneath the trellis, and our bottle gourd has started climbing! It may seem like a small achievement, but for us, it means so much to see our plans gradually taking shape.

This morning, I couldn’t contain my happiness when I saw that our bottle gourd had finally started climbing the trellis! I immediately called my mom to tell her what I had just seen. She came over with a happy smile and said, “Finally, it’s starting to climb!”

It may seem like a simple thing, but moments like this bring us so much joy. One of the things my mom and I are happiest about is seeing the seedlings we carefully transplanted finally take root, survive, and grow bigger each day.

When my mom and I checked on our squash plant, we were so happy to see how beautiful and healthy it looked. It has grown bigger, and to our delight, it’s also starting to climb the trellis!

We’re hoping that all our plants will continue to thrive, grow healthy, and eventually reward us with their fruits. For now, we’ll keep nurturing them with love and patience, finding joy in every little sign of progress.

Gardening has taught us that some of the most beautiful things in life take time to grow. We may not see the fruits of our labor right away, but watching our plants flourish little by little is already a blessing in itself. And when the day finally comes that we can harvest what we’ve planted, I know it will be another beautiful moment for my mom and me to celebrate together.

Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!

It is one of the best, so follow me as I will be featuring my experiences of the stuff that I am passionate with.

Wonderful gardening success Sis. would like to have veggies in our backyard too keep growing vegetables so you don't have to buy just harvest your own that would be really fun and exciting as you don't need to buy it to the market as it is already available from your garden to your table so fresh

If you only have a small space in your backyard, you can use recycled materials, like empty bottles or sacks, to grow vegetables. This way, you can save money while helping the environment!

You can just plant vegetables for your own consumption. You’ll save a lot of money once your plants grow and start producing fruits!

Seeing your plant grow healthily is bliss. Looking forward to seeing them climb up the trellis you installed and start flowering and fruiting. 🤩

It's a delight to watch it growing. I remember the very first time I had planted bitter gourd in my garden and when it started growing I was so overjoyed, every day I used to take pictures and compare...hehe
