My home is older than me, so the electrical services still run above ground rather than underground like the newer developments. In my province we do have a Dail-before-you-Dig service for anyone wondering if there are unknown lines in any BC preivate or public property. I'm getting anxious for the Spring to come. My Crocus are just beginning to poke out of the ground.

Yeah, we also did a Dial before you dig for the block... the cables are supposed to be at least 60 centimetres below ground and have those warning things in layers above... nothing in this case, and it was crazily shallow! Even the real one was pretty close to the surface!
