What a beautiful place is Einsiedeln!! You say a small village with a population of 15.000? It is not that small then, in my opinion. The video with the light show on the Baroque building is awesome, like a fairytale, and I also like to see all that snow and the lake in the last video is beautiful. There is one video that on my screen shows as not available... But apart from the visuals, the history part (and the legends) is what is even more interesting. I also found myself connected to it as my hometown has a name that is most probably derived from the word "abadía", as guess what - there was an abbey and later the rest of the settlement grew around it... and we also have a Black Madonna in our church! So many coincidences between our hometowns... well, truth be told, Einsiedeln is much prettier, and the nature around it is so nice and refreshing!! And maybe this place is not as visited as the pyramids from Egypt but for sure, I would prefer to travel here before the pyramids (oops, espero Avdesing no vea esto lo que acabo de decir jajaja 😜)
