I never knew what Nomadland was about, though I've heard of it of course, particularly Chloe Zhou's achievement.
I was thinking about how 'real' this was. Most of it is not scripted, but part of it is. Also, once a camera is on the scene, how real is anything? I guess it's the best she could do. I certainly feel I have a sense of what it is to live like that, as a nomad with little resources.
Living on a boat or in a camper sounds a little exotic and charming, if it's a voluntary arrangement and you have a nice boat and camper. But, struggling to eat and get necessities probably gets old very quickly when resources are limited.

Its charming when its like a 30-days tourist experience after which one goes back to his cozy urban apartment.. . when its an everyday struggling for eat and basic resources, suddenly its not. But ofc it can be handy, can be refreshing, appealing - you name it and choose correct option - but still.
