Visitamos Shambhala Beach Bar & Restaurant en Ko Chang [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! cuando nos cambiamos de hospedaje en la isla Ko Chang (Tailandia), fuímos a quedarnos en unas villas (les haré la reseña muy pronto de estas) que quedaban muy cerca de Shambhala Beach Bar & Restaurant, un lugar muy bonito donde comímos delicioso, que además está ubicado frente al mar y donde tuvimos una atención maravillosa pero abajo les cuento más.

Hi everyone! When we switched accommodations on Ko Chang Island (Thailand), we stayed at some villas (I’ll review them very soon) that were very close to [Shambhala Beach Bar & Restaurant] ([//]:# (!worldmappin 12.13676 lat 102.26841 long d3scr)), a very beautiful place where we had a delicious meal. It’s also right on the beach, and the service was wonderful—but I’ll tell you more about that below.

Llegamos allí y lo que hicimos primero fue echarle un vistazo a todo el lugar, el cual les cuento que tiene una gran piscina y un bar afuera, además de una mesa para jugar billar. Luego decidimos entrar y una chica nos atendió muy amablemente dándonos el menú, el cual les cuento es variado entre pizzas, pasta, comida tailandesa, sopa, parrillas y algunas entradas o snacks, además de bebidas y postres, y creo que su concepto es platos saludables o más saludables que en otros lugares, pues lo digo porque ordenamos unas papas fritas y estan eran sin aceite.

When we got there, the first thing we did was take a look around the place, which, I’ll tell you, has a large pool and an outdoor bar, as well as a pool table. Then we decided to go inside, and a girl served us very kindly, giving us the menu, which, I’ll tell you, offers a variety of options including pizzas, pasta, Thai food, soup, grilled dishes, and some appetizers or snacks, as well as drinks and desserts. I think their concept is to serve healthy dishes—or at least healthier ones than at other places—because when we ordered some french fries, they were made without oil.

Además de las papas fritas, también ordenamos una pizza y una pasta a la boloñesa para compartir, y para beber 3 jugos de naranja y mientras nos traían todo, Olivia y yo fuímos a dar otro vistazo rápido a la playa y la verdad se veía genial aunque bastante tranquila, pero me encantaba las palmeras allí y que hay muchas tumbonas para relajarse cerca de la piscina, también tenían un columpio.

In addition to the french fries, we also ordered a pizza and a plate of pasta Bolognese to share, along with three glasses of orange juice. While we were waiting for our food to arrive, Olivia and I went to take another quick look at the beach. It actually looked great, even though it was pretty quiet, but I loved the palm trees there and the fact that there were lots of lounge chairs for relaxing by the pool; they even had a swing.

Volvimos a la mesa y poco después ya estaban nuestros platos allí, es decir no tardaron mucho tiempo y les cuento que todo estaba delicioso, la pizza suave, la pasta muy sabrosa y las papas ricas también, así que claro que terminamos comiendo todo. Los precios me parecieron bastante bien también y las porciones también, así que sin duda alguna pasamos un momento muy agradable allí, nos relajamos ya que era un un lugar muy cómodo con música e iluminación adecuados y comimos delicioso, por lo que lo recomiendo, a nosotros nos encantó, y como les dije antes la atención también fue muy buena.

We went back to our table, and shortly after, our food was already there—it didn’t take long at all. I have to tell you, everything was delicious: the pizza was light, the pasta was very flavorful, and the potatoes were tasty too, so of course we ended up eating everything. I thought the prices were pretty good too, and the portions were generous, so without a doubt we had a very pleasant time there. We relaxed because it was a very comfortable place with just the right music and lighting, and the food was delicious, so I recommend it—we loved it—and as I mentioned before, the service was also very good.
