Nuestra experiencia en The Beach Club Koh Chang [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! como les conté en algunos de mis post anteriores, en la isla Koh Chang nos mudamos de hospedaje después de unos días y en el nuevo hotel teníamos un restaurante muy cerca llamado The Beach Club Koh Chang, donde comimos varias cosas deliciosas y donde teníamos una vista maravillosa, incluso podíamos ver el atardecer desde allí sentados, y es que este restaurante está ubicado cerca de la playa de Chang Noi y nuestro hospedaje era Siam Royal View Resort Apartments.

Hi everyone! As I mentioned in some of my previous posts, we switched accommodations after a few days on Koh Chang, and at our new hotel there was a restaurant nearby called The Beach Club Koh Chang, where we had several delicious meals and enjoyed a wonderful view—we could even watch the sunset from our seats there, This restaurant is located near Chang Noi Beach, and we were staying at the Siam Royal View Resort Apartments.

La primera vez que los visitamos fue para tener un snack y justamente esta visita coincidió con el atardecer, una vez allí vimos que también tienen un bar de playa y una grande piscina y algo bueno es que al sentarnos en una mesa solo necesitabamos presionar un botón para ordenar. Este día ordenamos unos jugos y unas papas fritas y debo decir que todo estaba delicioso.

The first time we visited was for a snack, and our visit happened to coincide with sunset. Once there, we saw that they also have a beach bar and a large pool, and one nice thing is that once we sat down at a table, all we had to do was press a button to order. That day we ordered some juices and french fries, and I have to say everything was delicious.

Los siguientes días volviamos allí para cenar y tomar algún cóctel y debo decir que este restaurante tiene un menú bastante variado, desde comida internacional hasta platos tailandeses y postres, y todo lo que comimos allí estaba bueno, en especial los tacos, aunque también probamos unos nachos (que olvidé hacer fotos) pero estaban muy ricos y los cócteles también, con la atención no tuvimos la mejor experiencia ya que aquí fue donde pedimos unos huevos bien hechos para Olivia y los trajeron aguados, además el personal era un poco antipático y solo una vez nos dieron cubiertos pero no servilletas.

Over the next few days, we went back there for dinner and a few cocktails, and I have to say that this restaurant has a pretty varied menu, ranging from international cuisine to Thai dishes and desserts, and everything we ate there was delicious, especially the tacos, though we also tried some nachos (which I forgot to take pictures of) but they were really tasty, and the cocktails were great too. We didn’t have the best experience with the service, though, since this was where we ordered some well-done eggs for Olivia and they brought them runny; plus, the staff was a bit unfriendly, and only once did they give us cutlery but no napkins.

A pesar del mar servicio, ibamos cada noche allí porque era el único restaurante cercano de nuestro hospedaje y porque como les dije antes comiamos delicioso, además como ven abajo, podíamos relajarnos mientras tomabamos un cóctel frío cerca del mar, Olivia se divertía también allí ya que hay un parque y un columpio en el que ella disfrutó mucho pero también le gustaba jugar con la arena. Así que si me preguntan, solo recomiendo The Beach Club por las vistas, la comida y los cócteles, pero no por el servicio.

Despite the poor service, we went there every night because it was the only restaurant near our lodging and, as I mentioned before, the food was delicious. Plus, as you can see below, we could relax while sipping a cold cocktail by the sea. Olivia had a great time there too, since there’s a playground and a swing set that she really enjoyed, and she also loved playing in the sand. So if you ask me, I’d only recommend The Beach Club for the views, the food, and the cocktails—but not for the service.
