Sure, that was basically the entire message/theme underpinning the post. The hammock is the symbol of slowing down.
You could sum up the post as. Slowing down in that Niceraguan hammock made me realize we had to speed up to slow down. And nothing could stop me from getting my family to that slow down place. Just had to do 6 months of work in 2 months.
Having been in high gear these last months...im now down shifting.
In my own head, the story is one of determination, overcoming adversity and triumph.
But it seems to have been externally perceived as people feeling sorry for me.
Yet i dont feel sorry for me. I feel proud and pumped to be here in Cuenca.
The feeling i hold is ‘we made it’
lol, and so it goes.
