I haven't had the good fortune to travel much, but in the few trips I have taken in my life, I’ve had similar experiences, and I agree with your statement: human beings are good people. As you rightly say, they are eager to learn from others' stories and to have their own stories heard.

Human connection works that way; we all have a story we want to tell, and it is always good to be heard.
