RE: What happened to being able to search for a wide range of dates for flights?

Very true and agree not always the cheapest is the best and tends to have hidden fees like booking your seat which is often another $50 or more plus luggage. It never used to be this way as the booking of your preferred seat was never extra or even a suit case.
