Happy #wednesdaywalk! I love taking the time to appreciate the architectural details on older buildings. Sad they don't take the time (money) to build things like this anymore. My local lake is frozen over enough for skating. At least for the early birds, I think I will wait for another good, extended cold snap before I go out on the ice.

The older buildings have some interesting architectural details. Now it's more standardized, but given the cost of building materials and labor, I understand the owners' concerns.
I hope the lake will freeze over soon with the slightly colder temperatures we've had today. I won't be going skating anytime soon either.
