So we've had a good start with the sewing and early stage development of LOTS of plants for the allotment...
Corn, Tomatoes and courgettes
Which we are currently hardening off, probs put these in next weekend

LOTS of plants outside, sorry about the slight blurr!

Lettuce, brassicas, sunflowers, lots to go in this weekend!
And the allotment overview...

Nice middle chunk dug over and ready to plant, the far end has been under plastic and should only take a couple of hours to get ready....
Near side probably more like 3-4 hours work to prep, but nothing a good three weekends and a few evenings can't sort out!
What's in already....

Just a few broad beans and some chard we got off our allotment neighbour....
We are going to nematode the plot for slugs next couple of days and then get planting en masse this weekend.
It's going to a busy couple of weekends getting this lot in for sure!
That's a good lot of plants. We've got a few to go out soon. We just got a potting shed recently so that allowed us to grow more and the raised beds are ready for it. We really don't need an allotment too, but then our big garden can be a lot of work.
Oh a potting shed, now I am jealous.
I've always really fancied once of those brick based greenhouses, maybe one day!
I'll post about this one some time. My other half likes to sit in there.
Ever think of posting in Hive Garden? Would love to see it there so I can vote/share with the HG account, will miss it otherwise.
I love allotments - we don't really need them here as we have space, but it'd be nice to chat to other gardeners there for the same thing instead of being isolated. We do have a community garden though - I might join when my arm gets better.
I'll remember the tag for sure!
Wow! Your garden looks amazing! For being so early in the season.
Hey cheers, I am pretty happy, we're having a good year!
Looking good! Hope the harvest matches the expectations. ;)
