Winterphotography in Hallstadt and at the Hallstätter Lake
Hallstatt is a very beautiful small village in Austria that acts as a tourist magnet from abroad. And I have to admit it is very beautiful there. During winter time there are not so many tourists but in summer this small village is crowded from vistors from all over the world. But the chinese visitors especially like it. They like it so much that they build a copy of the small village somewhere in China. And I have to admit it is a nice place but I know defenitely some even more beautiful spots here in Austria.
There is a very special museum with a lot of skulls in Hallstatt and when I went to middle school we visited the museum and took a look at the skulls. Then there is a nice salt mine in hallstadt that you can visit, it is a great spot for children and back in middle school we visited the salt mine with school too.

Thank you, yes winter can also be beautiful but I prefer summer...
Hallstadt is so important to archaeologists that the entire period from 800 to 450 BC, i.e. the Early Iron Age, has been named the Hallstatt period.
I believe it's beautiful there.
It is nice there but you need to visit it during the week when there are much less tourists otherwise it is not so funny.
From this point of view, it was best during COVID. For example, there were no tourists in Prague. I think it was the same everywhere in the world. Locals could finally see their city or country in peace.
