Hello everyone, @glecerioberto here, and welcome to today's #TravelDigest! I bring you a beautiful walk along the snow in Kensington Metropark during a sunset, a curious exploration of a ruined palace in Cuba, and a stroll through the quiet Parque de la Alegría. Those are our Top 3 posts. If you're still not satisfied, go ahead and check out more travel stories in our Honorable Mentions. We have Sullivan Bay in Ecuador, Richley Recreation Reserve in Australia, Palacete de Loyola in Venezuela, and so much more!
With the beautiful cold and sunny weather this Sunday, the plan was to visit one of the local parks and we decided on Kensington Metropark, the drive to get there is 30 minutes at most and the 8 miles paved loop around the lake opens lots of walking opportunities and of course fantastic scenery. Of course, laziness and inefficiency made us start once again later than expected but finally we told Le Chat to guard the house and got on our way. I stopped trying to understand what goes on inside Le Chat's head and once again I had no idea why she decided to stay on top of her tiny house, instead of inside. It wasn't super cold, around 20F (-7C) but still, why? Funny Le Chat!

We stopped by the roadside and a tractor overtook us. Then I looked to the right and saw that landscape. I had to tell my companion that many times I get the fleeting feeling of not being in Cuba.

It's called La Alegría Park, and it's the last stop on the bus that goes to the northernmost part of the city, where you have to start walking to the botanical garden.
