European trains are more comfortable than ukrainians. And stylish. But they are often late, or cancelled, it makes the journey less scheduled or predictable. This is why I prefer plains. They are faster as well.
I am glad you have had a family reunion and good time on Christmas. And you avoided all those disasters 🙏

Planes can have delays too. You can see more from a train and we were in no hurry. At least we have the choice of how to travel. I would not want to drive all that way.
