Not only for relaxation or exercise, Wachirabenjathat Park (Suan Rot Fai) also provides education of the environment for people which is named Bang Sue Environmental Learning and Conservation Center.
This place is beautiful right from the entrance! There's a large fish pond with 2 fountains which creates a refreshing and relaxing view.
In front of the building, you will see a spectacular large waterfall approximately 100 meters long, created from treated water, flowing along the curve of the building’s wall.
The landscape is wonderful with a water garden planted with various rare fragrant plants, flowering plants, emerged plants, lotus flowers, medical water plants, submerged plants, mangroves, and aquatic plants, by using a wastewater treatment system.
The inside of the building is designed as learning resources for environment management; i.e. an Environmental Library with many types of books with a view of the waterfall outside, there's educational information about environmental care, a wastewater treatment system, etc. (Unfortunately, I didn't go inside that day.)
