This is what a travelerโs breakfast looks like โ๐ง
After everything โ this moment means a lot.

I took an Intercape double-decker bus, sitting at the bottom in the back. Luckily, it wasnโt full this time, and the journey felt much less stressful compared to over a year ago.

The trip started in Windhoek, heading across Namibia and down the Caprivi Strip toward Katima Mulilo. I arrived there early the next morning and switched from the bus into a shuttle.
Then came the borders.
First crossing into Botswana โ with two border posts. From there, the route took me through Chobe National Park, where I experienced something incredible: a group of elephants crossing the road right in front of us ๐

After that, we crossed the new bridge into Zambia โ again, two border posts โ and finally reached Livingstone, where I checked into my accommodation.

This time I used Travala for the first time to book my stay โ and it worked just fine.
Today is not about moving.
Today is about resting, updating my devices, and just breathing.

Due to the robbery in Windhoek, I lost my main phone together with my 1TB SD card.
All my photos from Zanzibar to Namibia are gone.
So please excuse the quality of the images Iโll be posting โ they are taken with my old phone, which is slowly dying.
I hope I can replace it soon, but financially itโs not possible right now.

The Caprivi Strip is a narrow stretch of land in northeastern Namibia. Its unusual shape comes from colonial times, when Germany negotiated access to the Zambezi River in the late 19th century.
The goal was to create a trade route to East Africa โ though in reality, the river wasnโt as navigable as expected.
Today, the region is known for its rich wildlife, river landscapes, and as a gateway between Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Angola.
After the robbery in Windhoek, Iโm trying to rebuild โ step by step.
If you want to support me, here are a few ways:
[email protected]Every bit helps โ and I truly appreciate it ๐
After long roads, border crossings, and everything that happened โ sometimes all you need is a coffee, a muffin, and a quiet place to sit.
And todayโฆ thatโs enough.
