Shibuya Crossing - The Scramble
When I had heard about this I could not believe that a pedestrian intersection can be so famous. The Shibuya crossing is one of the world's most famous and busiest pedestrian intersection. It is one of the must things to experience when you are in Tokyo. It is said that at this crossing at a time there are around 3000+ people crossing the intersections in all directions all at the same time. When I saw it, I too felt overwhelmed about it. It is very famous with the Insta vloggers. I guess many people come here with the FOMO effect.
On the very first day I visited here, hubby was asking me what is there to see here, and I told him, there is nothing actually, it's just something we need to experience. The real fun is getting this view from the top and then going at the crossing and moving with the crowd, in this way you get the bird's eye view and also enjoy the vibe on the crossing.
We reached Shibuya station, I had gathered some information that before getting down from the station there is a place from where you can get top views of the crossing. It is on the path itself. I could easily locate it and we waited there for sometime to see the organized chaos. The signal was red when we reached there and in a couple of seconds it went green and I could see many people running to get the best shot without many people getting in the frame. It was looking more like a race to me.
The signal is red right now and you can see so many people waiting at all ends to experience this chaos.
And you can see the madness here. Some people are doing this crossing multiple times just for fun. You may feel it's just like any other crossing but trust me the vibe here is different and you will get carried away with it.

Hubby too was in high spirits.
Not everything makes sense in life, just like this scramble, sometimes you have to go with the flow of your surroundings, and that's what this place is exactly about. It's hyped up, nothing special about it but still you will not want to miss it when you are in Tokyo.
