I have never planned any of my holiday the way I have been planning my Japan trip. And all thanx to social media for confusing me more and more. When I started planning this holiday, I was randomly checking out information on Insta, and now after that all I am getting is Japan feeds, all the time, and people recommending what to do and what not to do. Which places are must visit, and looking at it I feel like I am barely visiting anything. Then my mind is going crazy, I am trying to fit in everything in my itinerary and I guess I have over-cramped up my itinerary. Last week I decided to revisit my itinerary and remove all similar experiences.
I realized there was leisure time; it was back-to-back from one point to another. Hubby and Son both got upset with me on this, finally after making some changes and letting some things pass my plan is looking better now and breathable, else in the earlier one we were just rushing all the time. I got carried away and got into a FOMO for time being, but then thank god I realized that it was not practical and neither enjoyable.
The other thing that has been different for this holiday has been the bookings. Normally I never do any sight-seeing ticket purchase in advance, it is always bought at the sight, even the train travel tickets and passes, I always prefer buying it on the day at the station. But trust me here, it's different. If you buy in advance you make major savings. For e.g. my train ticket from Tokyo to Osaka, if I purchase 21 days and more in advance, I get a good discounted price. I purchased it and got a first-class ticket at a lesser price then even the ordinary one. Then the Universal Studio express pass, it's almost sold out on their official website, so if I go there on the day it is possible I will not get it, and visiting Universal studios without a express pass is a waste there, because it's so damn crowded, that in a day without the express pass one can only do maximum 2 to 3 rides as each ride wait time is 1 to 1.5 hrs., and you will get exhausted waiting in the line. The other option is buy from their partners like Klook and all at a premium price.
Once tickets are booked,, I cannot change my plans as most of these tickets are also non-refundable and they are expensive to just let go and rebook. It has been one of the most complex planning for me and at the same time I have enjoyed this experience of doing it all myself.
Thank you for visiting my blog. πΌπ»πΌπ»πππΉπΊπΈ

Have a nice trip. How long is the vacation and approximate cost person.. Just to get some idea.
Thank you. It's around 4 lakh per person, this includes flights, hotels, and also adding up a budget to spend there. If you are planning let me know, I have done loads and loads of research and planned it myself, surely can help :-)
Hi Nainaz, check out Lauren's website (I'm linking her Japan tips):
https://www.neverendingfootsteps.com/asia/#Japan-heading
Her tips are phenomenal. I always visit her site for tips when I travel to an unknown place.
You might find valuable information about Japan too.
Thank you so much, I will surely check it out. Always good to get information from credible sources. For Japan there is kind of overload and confusing information on the net
