Last week, I went to Berastagi with my family, one of the popular tourist destinations in North Sumatra. This place is visited by so many travelers. The air here is very cool and fresh, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful—just as you can see in the photos I shared.
I departed in the morning around 10:00 AM and arrived at 3:00 PM. The journey should normally take about 3 hours, but because of heavy traffic and drizzling rain, it took me longer to get there.
There are many attractions you can visit here: Pariban Hot Springs, Lumbini Nature Park, Pandia Rumah Cimpa, the dairy milking site, Puncak Tangke Tabu, and so much more.
I stayed here for 2 days, at Villa Bukit Asri Berastagi. Staying overnight here is really the best way to fully enjoy the atmosphere of Berastagi. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting.
The next day, we headed back at 4:00 PM and got home at 7:00 PM This trip was so enjoyable, and it is definitely a place worth visiting again in the future.
