Last weekend, I decided to hop on my bicycle and head over to Bukit Gombak after hearing that the estate had already started its National Day celebrations. It turned out to be one of those spontaneous adventures that I certainly didn't regret.

Beyond the food, I also enjoyed browsing the various retail stalls selling phone accessories, toys, and everyday items. There were even nostalgic carnival games and beautifully illuminated amusement rides that instantly caught my attention. The vintage swing ride reminded me of the small neighborhood funfairs I used to visit as a child. Watching children enjoy the rides while parents stood nearby taking photos brought back many happy memories from the past.

Perhaps that is why I enjoyed this visit so much.
