Making such alone isn't really easy. Like you mentioned, one needs preparation, and this goes financially, psychologically and otherwise. I appreciate such adventures, but beyond that, we should be able to consider some things critically before we embark on. That's what you've done.

I also really admire people who do all of this alone. Traveling solo requires a lot of preparation, and perhaps the mental aspect is the most important.
