RE: To sip from a bottomless cup

As I recall, you aren't very old, yourself, yet you manage to see "young people" around you. I suppose I once did, too, but I've forgotten about that. Everybody looks young to me now, unless they are gray-haired and wrinkly like I am.

I was in Prague, briefly, in 1977. I was a student, with limited funds. I stayed in a cheap, dumpy hotel and ate cheap food. I don't think coffee shops had been invented yet, and I wouldn't have been able to afford such a thing if they existed. It would be interesting to see what it's like there now, especially if I could stay in a nice place and eat really nice food, and visit that coffee shop!

It truly is a wonderful place. I'm 27 and it seems everyone I talk to about this (my age or older) finds it strange. I don't rightly know how it happens myself, but it's just something I keep noticing.

I taught school from age 23-26,and certainly viewed the teens as young people. But I don't recall having an opinion about those in their younger twenties.
