These are not just hard days, this is extreme training territory! 10 miles is 20,000 to 25,000 steps, so some days it will be over 30,000 steps over variable terrain! And you will be doing it for 9 days straight. I would recommend trying to keep it at 15,000 steps unless you normally walk over 10k steps...
Yeah, these will be hard days indeed. I can easily do 10 miles, or 20K step a day. During my recent trip to Prague I have done 25K step/day, so it is doable for me. However, I will need additional time to look at the outcrops so typically I would plan 7-8 mile days.
