People and crowds are off putting for myself as well and I would be like you looking where the people aren't. It is madness that people tend to congregate in one area when they have the entire beach.

I agree. The beach area is friggin huge here too yet everyone seems to gravitate towards 2 or 3 primary places. Part of the reason why is because you can't just swim anywhere you feel like it. they have these cordoned off "safe areas" that swimming is allowed in and you will be whistled at if you go anywhere else. None of these areas are particularly dangerous but, and this might sound a bit mean but it is true, Asians aren't generally well-known for their swimming-prowess and are frequently subjects of drownings.
Not everyone who goes to the beach swims and why you would think people would space themselves out, but they don't.
