I think most countries charge a fee and is hidden in the airport tax charged on each ticket. I noticed this a few trips ago when I broke down the cost of a ticket tying to work out all the various increases.

yeah it's pretty nuts when you look closely at a ticket and realize that most of the money isn't even going to the airline. I guess airport ownership is a really big business.
