Sunrise Hike in Sagada: Every Step Taken Was Worth It!

It's not common for people to wake up at 3 AM during a holiday trip, but just listen to me! When you find yourself in Sagada in Philippines and plan on hiking to watch the sunrise, this becomes really worthwhile!

Our journey started early in the morning before the first rays of the sun appeared. During three hours of climbing and hiking we finally got to the top and everything that followed became magical.

While the sun was slowly rising from behind the horizon, we found ourselves in the clouds. Indeed, we were standing on the clouds! This became the greatest view one can ever have!

Indeed, every single step we took in the dark became absolutely worthwhile because it allowed us to sit there and enjoy the view that nature had created for us. If you will ever visit Sagada, take this trip!
