Hiatuses From Hive: Work, Travel, and a Month in India

If you've noticed I've been a little quiet on Hive lately, there's a reason. Life has been keeping me busy, and much of that time has been spent traveling for work.

Over the past several months, my schedule has taken me away from my usual routines and, unfortunately, away from Hive as well. Most recently, I spent about a month in India for work.

It was quite an experience.

India is one of those places that leaves an impression on you. The culture, the people, the food, the energy, and the sheer contrast between places and experiences make it a fascinating country. There's so much to take in, and even after a month, you feel like you've only scratched the surface.

Traveling for work has its rewards, but it also comes with a trade-off. Long days, different time zones, unfamiliar surroundings, and constantly being on the move don't always leave much room for the things you normally enjoy. For me, that includes writing, reading, and staying active in the Hive community.

I've always enjoyed Hive because it's more than just another social media platform. It's a place to share thoughts, exchange ideas, follow developments, and connect with people from around the world. But like anything else, sometimes life takes priority, and you step away for a while.

That doesn't mean I've lost interest.

If anything, traveling gives you plenty to think about and plenty of experiences worth sharing. Whether it's observations from the places I visit, thoughts about business and technology, or just my take on what's happening in the world, there's no shortage of things to write about.

So, consider this a small reintroduction.

I'm looking forward to getting back into the habit of posting, catching up on what I've missed, and reconnecting with the people I've enjoyed interacting with here.

Sometimes you have to step away from the keyboard and experience a little more of the world before coming back with something to say.
