Indeed, it was very much not a fun experience, but things are at least partially sorted out at the moment. I have my laptop, and I've been sleeping, in the Kasbah, which is a community space, so it's OK for now, but I can't say here obviously.

I agree, though water proofing an open-air bamboo yurt presents more than a few challenges.
