RE: Carry on > checked baggage... always

airlines are out of control with their silly baggage fees. If any of the lies they tell about the plane needing to be balanced and what not is true, then why are the weights of the passengers never factored in? I'm a relatively big guy and I will often look ahead and behind me and see that all the fatties are on one side of the plane. If this nonsense about bags being too heavy and making the pilots job more difficult, why isn't the weight of the people a factor at all? It's all a scam.
