Sourdough donuts are actually pretty good. We have a few places around Michigan that make them. They still have that yeasty quality to them, just a bit sour. I actually prefer yeast doughnuts versus cake doughnuts most of the time.

They also had a sign in their place that asked people not to take photos. I don't know if that is because they have trade secrets they want to keep, they are just sick of people taking photos, or given their proximity to the border they don't want any open invites for ICE to visit them!
