I think my biggest issue is I would never be able to travel overseas without my wife, but she wouldn't be interested in any of the HIVEfest stuff, so it would be kind of lame for her.

For awareness, my wife and kids were there, and they dont care about the hive stuff. The hive talks are a surprisingly small part of hivefest. Dinners, lunches, excursions, all in unique locations. That and socializing with hiveians, pretty sweet gig for anyone who attends.
