Wzgórze Filopappou - kierunek południowy-zachód

Kilka kadrów ze wzgórza Filopappou w greckich Atenach. Wszystkie przedstawiają widok tuż spod szczytu wzgórza w kierunku południowo-zachodnim, gdzie roztacza się widok na aglomerację ateńską, w tym gminy Kallithea, oraz Pireus. Widok sięga aż po zatokę Sarońską, która jest częścią Morza Egejskiego.

Dotarłem na miejsce na początku złotej godziny i spędziłem na wzgórzu sporo czasu. Widoki w każdą stronę są rewelacyjne i bardzo dobrze widać tu ogrom Aten i innych okolicznych miejscowości. Całe otoczenie jest bardzo gęsto zabudowane a dominującym kolorem architektury jest oczywiście biały. Grecja nie potrzebuje śniegu, żeby tonąć w bieli.

Wszystkie kadry zachowane w panoramicznym formacie 16:9. Te scenerie aż się prosiły o taki format, a dodatkowo łatwiej było mi w ten sposób pokazać w kadrze dokładnie to, co chciałem. Bez nudnego nieba pozbawionego wyrazu, ale z zachowaniem jak najszerszych scen.

Philopappos Hill – Southwest View

A few shots from Philopappos Hill in Athens, Greece. They all capture the view from just below the summit, looking southwest across the Athens metropolitan area - including the municipality of Kallithea, and towards Piraeus. The vista extends all the way to the Saronic Gulf, part of the Aegean Sea.

I arrived at the start of the "golden hour" and spent quite a bit of time on the hill. The views in every direction are spectacular, offering a clear sense of the vast scale of Athens and the surrounding towns. The entire area is densely built-up, with white being the dominant architectural color. Greece doesn't need snow to be bathed in white.

All the shots are in a 16:9 panoramic format. These scenes practically demanded this aspect ratio, and it also made it easier for me to frame exactly what I wanted to show-capturing the widest possible views while avoiding dull, featureless skies.
