Flows by
In waves
Of darkness;

The train

Except the driver
Who stares

Jailer.

The luminous needle
Jerks
Across the dial;

Miiles flow
Behind us.

I am aware
Of the night's
Sharp edge,

Of the curve
Of lights
Up ahead...

Of the passage
Into darkness.
