One in a while I fade crypto and leave the Metaverse unattended, as I go away to touch some grass! I don't disconnect 100% because you know a true Chad can't go Out Of Office for too much time... it's just impossible!
This time I swapped the grass for sand, and Tenerife has become my office for the spring time! In the south of the island you're stepping into a paradise where every turn has something exciting waiting for you. I have a feeling that this will turn into a series of posts! It's so much to see and too much to share in a single post!
Tenerife is the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, and my holiday destination for a while! It is a remarkable destination that offers a striking mix of natural wonders, cultural richness, and culinary delights.
The island’s landscapes are incredibly diverse, ranging from the volcanic heights of Mount Teide to lush green forests and dramatic cliffs along the coast. If you go there... visit Mount Teide, which rises to 3,718 meters.
I started my holiday at Playa de las Américas in Costa Adeje, where the golden sands and clear waters offer a luxurious and relaxed vibe! This is perfect if you're looking to unwind in style.
Playa de las Américas has energy and is buzzing with beach life during the day. It goes extreme and is lighting up with vibrant nightlife once the sun goes down.

For a more laid-back coastal vibe I will recommend Los Cristianos, for its bustling harbor, local cafés, and ferry rides that can whisk you away to nearby islands if you're feeling adventurous. Or just rent a sunbed and watch the market going up and down while the waves are splashing your hairy legs.
If you’re in the mood for some action, Siam Park is an absolute must. It's considered one of the best water parks in the world, and is packed with wild rides like the Dragon and the Tower of Power that’ll get your heart racing.
I've been here last year so this year will skip it, as I plan to visit Loro Parque in the North side of the island. However, you should defo check this place if you land in Tenerife.
Siam Park in Tenerife is a massive Thai-themed water park known for its mix of adrenaline rides and relaxing spaces. It's home to the Tower of Power, a vertical slide that shoots you through a shark tank, and the Wave Palace, which boasts some of the largest artificial waves in the world.
For a more laid-back experience, the Mai Thai River offers a long, winding lazy ride through tropical scenery. The park also has plenty of good food options, including Thai dishes and casual bites.

All the way across Adeje you can enjoy stunning hike through rugged landscapes, culminating at Tenerife’s highest waterfall. Every corner in the South blends chill vibes with epic adventures, making it impossible not to fall a little bit in love with the island.
What to see? What to drink? What to eat? Just try local cuisine and enjoy all the amazing places in here! Book a trip to Mount Teide & Teide National Park for breath-taking views. It's the highest point in Spain and the landscapes feel like you're on another planet.
Visit Los Gigantes Cliffs, the massive vertical cliffs that drop straight into the Atlantic. It's the perfect for a chill boat trip and see some dolphins too. This is a hard place to reach, as the Masca village is hidden between mountains. The drive there is wild but 100% worth it!
Tenerife is a paradise for foodies looking to dive into local flavours. You have to try papas arrugadas, those wrinkly little potatoes boiled in salty water and served with legendary red and green mojo sauces.
Gofio, a traditional roasted corn flour, might sound simple but it sneaks its way into everything from bread to desserts. Grilled fish, caught fresh that morning, shines with just a splash of lemon and a hit of mojo verde. Finish it all off with a spoonful of bienmesabe, a sweet almond cream that’s basically happiness in dessert form.
When it comes to drinks, Tenerife keeps the magic flowing. The island’s volcanic soil gives its wines a unique edge, especially whites like Listán Blanco and Malvasía. For a mid-day pick-me-up, barraquito layers condensed milk, liquor, coffee, and cinnamon into pure joy in a cup.
I dived straight into a seafood bonanza, from squid and shrimps to marinated tuna and seaweed! There was fancy food at every meal, including mussles for breakfast. They had some truffle cucumber with mojo verde as a side, so don't tell me I am not eating healthy!

Tenerife’s food scene is just as compelling as its landscapes. Local cuisine is hearty and deeply rooted in tradition. One of the island’s signature dishes is papas arrugadas with mojo! The small wrinkled potatoes are served with spicy green or mild red sauce!
Fresh seafood is abundant, whether it’s grilled fish, octopus, or tender calamari, and the island’s volcanic vineyards produce wines with unique mineral notes that are worth sampling. Have your pick anon!
This is the second part ... and more are drafted! Until then ... You can stroll along dramatic coastlines while touching some... sand! Read Tenerife Uncovered: Volcanoes, Beaches, and Culinary Delights
