#1245 - Igorot Stone Kingdom Shots for Monday.
Cheerful Monday fellow dearest Hiveans around the world! I know the bed was extra cozy this morning but here we are facing the Manic Monday day. Grab your coffee, take a deep breath and let's take the day with confidence. We are in this together, so let us inspire each other here on Hive. Wishing everyone a very wonderful Monday🤗.
Now for our daily shots one late morning at the Igorot Stone Kingdom in Baguio City where we went with my wife and some friends to explore the place. The weather was cloudy and honestly it was perfect because walking under a hot sun would have been draining. The cool Baguio air made everything comfortable for strolling.

When we entered, we were greeted by the big wooden sign that said "Umali Kayo" which means welcome. The first thing that caught our eyes were those massive warrior statues standing guard with their spears and shields. We could not resist taking photos right beside them. They looked so mighty, like they were protecting the whole place. My wife and I posed in between them.

We just kept walking and exploring every corner had something nice to see. There were these tall stone structures built like castles. It was amazing to think it was all made from stones stacked carefully by hand. The pine trees surrounding the area added that classic Baguio vibe.

One of my good spots was the traditional stone house called "Paliwak." We sat in front of it for a photo holding hands. It was simple but beautiful. Moments like these are the ones I treasure the most.

Then we found the famous "King's Throne" a big stone chair decorated with water buffalo horns. Of course I had to sit on it and pretend to be the king of the kingdom for a moment. My friends were laughing and cheering while taking my photos. We took turns sitting here having fun and joking around.

We climbed up some of the stone pathways and enjoyed the view from the higher spots. From up here, we could see the whole kingdom with its layered walls and the foggy mountains all around it.

Before we left, we took a few more photos by the stone walls. Visiting the Igorot Stone Kingdom with my wife and friends was such an adventure, a perfect mix of culture and fun and definitely a place we would love to visit again someday.
