#1244 - Ambuklao Dam Shots for Saturday.

Hello fellow dearest Hiveans around the world! Happy Saturday to us all. I hope you woke up feeling refreshed and ready to just chill today. Saturdays are best because there is no rush. You can sleep in, enjoy a nice breakfast or maybe go out and have some fun with your loved ones. Wishing you all a relaxing and a happy Saturday🌸.

Now for our daily shots this time after conquering the peak of Mount Pulag, we were exhausted but still riding high. On our way back to Baguio Benguet, we decided to make a stopover at Ambuklao Dam. It was late afternoon and the sky had turned into a dramatic blanket of gray clouds which made the massive structure look epic.

We were standing on top of the dam, looking down at this huge scale of concrete walls and deep valley below. It was a perfect place to stretch our legs and shake off the fatigue. We snapped a fun group selfie right along the railed walkway overlooking the spillway.

After hanging out by the spillway, I walked down a bit to find a spot on the rocky slope right by the reservoir. I sat there on the dry grass looking over the calm water with the massive Benguet mountains. Just staring into the distance and let the cool mountain breeze hit my face.

While we were hanging around near the vehicles parked including a rugged red Mitsubishi Pajero that looked at home in these mountain roads, that's when we spotted a local stray dog chilling out on the dirt path. It looked relaxed as we were.

We went back into our workhorse and hit the road again heading straight to Baguio City where a cozy night stay was waiting for us. We were beat but it was a good way to wrap up an unforgettable adventure.
