Now for our daily daily shots of our unforgettable trek to the playground of the gods right around 4:00 AM when my wife and I finally made it to the summit of Mount Pulag. We weren't alone, we had a few of our close friends who like hiking with us also along with our lady guide who kept us on track and other hikers that day.

The hike up was an adventure in itself. We were dependent on the beams of our headlamps, it was dark. Every step felt heavy and the air got thinner and colder the higher we climbed. By the time we reached the peak marker proudly at 2,922 meters above sea level, we were spent but the excitement of making it to the top kept us on. We huddled together for a quick group photo by the sign with our faces lit up by the camera flash.

Then came the waiting and honestly, it was its own test of endurance.
I have never in my entire life, experienced cold like this one. It was freezing. The temperature dropped so low it felt like it was biting straight through our thick layers of clothing 😂. My wife was bundled up in a thick hooded jacket, a scarf and a beanie just to keep the warmth in but it's not enough. I was shivering right alongside her. We found a spot on the ground near dwarf bamboos and just sat there for what felt like hours.

But man when that sky started to change, every single chill and shiver became worth it.

Slowly, the horizon began to show shades of orange and gold. The absolute highlight of Mount Pulag is this legendary sea of clouds unrolled right beneath mountains like a fluffy white carpet. The golden morning light over the hills, turning the landscape into what looks like a masterpiece.

As the sun rose higher, we have made hundreds of poses already against the breathtaking background. My wife with the morning sun framing her perfectly. I managed to get a few solo shots too. We even captured a few quiet moments together as a couple.

It was freezing, exhausting and definitely outside of our comfort zones but standing here at the highest peak of Luzon with the love of my life and some good friends is a memory we’ll be talking about for the rest of our days💯.
