#1233 - Mount Mariglem Shots for Friday.

Happy Friday fellow dearest Hiveans around the world! We finally survived the week so take a deep breath. I hope your day is easy and filled with smiles. The weekend is officially here so let's just enjoy life. Thank you for always being such a fun and caring Hive community. Have a fantastic Friday and a safe and wonderful weekend with your family🙏.

Now for our daily shots one early morning with my wife, two of our good friends and I hike up Mount Mariglem in Zambales. The weather was gloomy that day. There was actually a typhoon passing by the north of the country.

Well, hiking in a typhoon isn't the best idea but we're here already no choice and it saved us from the intense heat. Zambales can get hot, so the sky was a blessing. Instead of sweating under the sun, we enjoyed a bit of chill in the air, cool breeze that makes you want to keep walking.

We also had to hire a local young man as our guide. He knew the mountain like the back of his hand which made us feel much safer navigating the trails.

As we climbed higher, the wind also started getting strong. The strong gusts added to the wild atmosphere of the hike. It felt like we were on an adventure straight out of a movie.

After about an hour or so of steady climbing, we finally reached the summit. Up here, the weather condition was even more intense. We were surrounded by thick fog and clouds. There was almost no visible clearing at all.. mostly, it was just clouds and fog. We couldn't see the valley and mountains views or the ocean that Mariglem is famous for.

We just stood here relaxed feeling the wind whip around. Despite the low visibility, it was absolutely worth it. Reaching the top with less sweat, feeling the wild nature and sharing the mysterious moment with my wife and friends made the hike a one for the book experience.
