#1221 - Trailing Mount Fato Shots for Tuesday.
Happy Tuesday dearest Hiveans around the world! I hope your week is moving along smoothly and I hope you find little moments of joy. Remember to take a deep breath and smile. Wishing everyone a safe and fantastic Tuesday ahead❤️.
Now for our daily shots one super early morning when we started our trek to Mount Fato in Maligcong Bontoc Mountain Province. It was still quite dark when we started with the air crisp and fresh. I was with my wife, two friends and a local lady guide named Janice who knew the trail well.

The most surprising member of our group was a dog who was a disabled dog whose hind legs were not working properly but he is inspiring. Even with his disability, he was determined to hike with us. He used his front legs to drag his body together with his strong spirit.

As we made our way up, the dawn was finally clearing while there was still a lot of fog surrounding us. It was cold that morning. The trail was difficult with lots of loose rocks and mud but seeing the dog keep going inspired us. He would pause to rest his weary front legs, but never turned back. He just wanted to be part of the adventure along with many other hikers that day.

We hadn't reached the summit yet but we were already feeling great. The trail was waking up our muscles and the fresh mountain air was exactly what we needed. My wife and friends were chatting quietly while hiking. Our guide was leading the way checking on us from time to time. Every time I looked back, the disabled dog was there making his way up and accompanied by other slow hikers.

We stopped for a quick break to catch our breath. Looking around, all I could see were white clouds and green mountains. It was so quiet. We knew the best view was waiting at the top but the journey was already rewarding.
