Now for our daily shots in La Trinidad, Benguet visiting the famous Strawberry Farm. The sun was shining overhead but the cool highland weather kept us comfortable. I was with my wife, our son Joaquin and several of our relatives. They had been asking to go here wanting to pick their own fruit and buy some souvenirs.

The farm was busy with tourists moving between the rows of plants. My relatives were excited, they will pay for the baskets and entered the designated picking area and they selected the biggest and reddest strawberries they could find.

It was fun watching them inspect each berry turning it over to check for ripeness. Before we knew it, their baskets were overflowing. We ended up buying a lot of fruit because they just couldn't stop picking because the strawberries looked so fresh and delicious.

After the picking, we moved to the market area where they sell pasalubong and souvenirs. The shops were lined with all kinds of Cordillera products. They took their time browsing through every stall.

Then we decided to cool down with some strawberry ice cream. We bought cones from one of the local vendors. The ice cream was pink and tasted incredibly sweet and creamy with real strawberry chunks mixed in. We stood together happily licking our melting cones.
