#1172 - Macro Shots for Thursday.
A warm Thursday greeting dearest amazing Hive family! I hope this day finds you feeling strong and happy. Whether you are writing a blog or just reading, or voting, your efforts matter a lot here and appreciate it. May you find joy in the little things. Stay safe, keep smiling and enjoy the journey toward the weekendπ.
Now for our daily shots one fascinating afternoon in the garden with my ZS100 camera focusing entirely on the tiny world of insects and flowers. I decided to take some close-up or macro shots and my first subject was some bright yellow flowers. They were glowing and honeybees were swarming all over them and they were hard at work. You could see its little legs covered in yellow pollen dust.

After watching the bees for a while, I noticed a large black ant making its way across the plant bark. I switched my focus to it. The ant looked giant in the macro view. You could clearly see its body and its as it walked on the twig. It looked like a lone explorer on a great adventure.

Then went to a delicate little purple flower. It wasn't as flashy as the yellow ones but it was beautiful in its own way. Another honeybee was visiting this one. It was amazing to see how gently the bee landed, trying not to damage the delicate flower.

Finally, I came across a plant with fireweed flowers. Some weren't fully open yet. I took a macro shot of the buds that were about to bloom in a day or two maybe. They looked like little tubes ready to burst open with color. You could see the petals waiting to unfurl. Looking at these photos, I realized just how much life is happening right under our noses even on simple meadows outdoors.
