#1159 - Ditumabo Water Falls Shots for Wednesday.

Hello my dear Hive family around the world, a very happy Wednesday to you all! Here on the blockchain, I hope you are finding wonderful stories that inspire you and bring a smile to you. Wishing you a steady, peaceful and fulfilling Wednesday. Keep shining bright, my Hive friends๐ŸŒž!

Moving now to our daily shots with my wife and I revisit Dimatubo Mother Falls in Aurora. We made our way there late in the morning. The trek to get to the falls taking us about 30 minutes of walking through the lush forest. The trail was familiar but I couldn't help but notice that things felt a bit different.

When we finally arrived at the falls, it was not the same place I remembered from ten years ago. Back then, it felt like a hidden paradise. Now, the landscape had changed. We see massive rocks had fallen from the very top of the mountains, due to flash floods that had changed the terrain. The natural pool looked rugged compared to the smooth one I had in my mind.

Aside from the changed landscape, another difference was the crowd. When we first visited here a decade ago. This time the water area was occupied by many other tourists who had arrived before us. People were everywhere on all the good spots. It was a bit overwhelming.

Despite the unexpected changes, we carefully navigated our way around the rocks and found a small spot and we dipped in, it was incredibly cold and chilling but it felt amazing once we got used to it.

My wife and I spent a good amount of time just dipping in the cold water. We also captured the moment, snapping photos of each other against the backdrop of the falling waters and the large rocks. This experience with my wife created entirely new and beautiful memories for us.
